The Aviators also added rookie pitchers Brad Koenig and Marc Acierno. The left-handed Koenig caught the eye of James Wilson, the Aviators' pitching coach and Murray Wilson's older brother. "Probably the biggest surprise is Brad Koenig. He came down here for our local tryout camp and threw well enough for us to invite him to spring training," Murray Wilson said. "James is the one who saw Brad and said he could bump some of our guys right now.
He works quick and throws strikes."

Graduated from the University of Houston in December 2006 with a degree in Sports Administration and a minor in Health

Currently a pitching coach for the Fort Bend Texans select baseball team

2001 graduate of Austin High School in Sugar Land.
Went on to play for HBU from 2001-2004, played for the Coastal Bend Aviators (Independent Minor League Baseball) Central Basaeball League in 2005. Now a coach for the Fort Bend Texans.
