• 2004 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll
Sophomore (2005)
Competed in 28 games with 16 starts at first
base, DH and catcher... Made his collegiate debut as a reserve against
Pepperdine in the series finale... Blasted a double to the wall in left
center at Cougar Field in his second plate appearance... Made his first
career start behind the plate against No. 2 LSU in the first game of a
doubleheader and went 2-for-3 with a double and run against the Tigers...
Laced a pinch-hit, RBI-single at Memphis in the series finale... Blasted
his first career homer with a solo shot in the Saint Louis series
opener... Tied the score with a pinch-hit RBI single in the bottom of the
seventh during the Saint Louis series finale... Started the rally in the
top of the 11th inning with a two-out double at Charlotte in the series
finale... Crushed a two-run homer against No. 30 Southern Miss in the
series opener... Went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs in the middle game
of the Southern Miss series.

reasons prior to the start of spring drills.
Freshman (2003)
Sat out the entire season with a redshirt
after injuring his knee and shoulder during the fall.
Austin High School
Earned three letters for head coach Todd
Moehlig... As a senior, batted .377 with 10 doubles, three home runs, a
.610 slugging percentage and a .995 fielding percentage... Named to the
THSBCA All-State squad and was placed on the HABC Southwest 5A All-Star
Team... Also earned All-District 20-5A honors... Batted .363 with 11
doubles, seven home runs, a .775 slugging percentage and a .993 fielding
percentage as a junior... Named to the All-District team and was a TSWA
All-State honorable mention honors... Played summer league baseball for
the Kyle Chapman team coached by Mike Rutledge... Received Academic
Excellence award and was a member of Texas Scholars.
